There are moments in life when the universe seems to whisper, “This is your time.” But the question is—do you have the strength to listen, to rise, and to act? Success doesn’t always come in grand gestures; it comes in choosing the harder right over the easier wrong, time and again.

Birds of a Feather: The Power of Association

History is full of contrasts, and two stories, of a notorious gangster and a celebrated war hero, reflect that vividly. Al Capone, one of the most feared criminals of his time, had a lawyer named Eddie. Known as “Easy Eddie,” he cleaned up every mess Capone made. But at what cost?

Eventually, Eddie’s conscience took over. He confessed, exposed Capone, and was assassinated. But his act of integrity wasn’t in vain. His son, Butch O’Hare, later became a World War II hero—so much so that Chicago’s O’Hare Airport is named after him.

What’s the lesson? Doing the right thing might not reward you immediately, but it creates a legacy far greater than wealth or comfort.

Your Intention Fuels Your Journey

My father once told me, “Start building your castle. The foundation will take care of itself.” I carry this lesson every day. Whether it’s my daughter Zainab or my students at Vidya Jeevan, I remind them: if your intentions are pure, the universe will support you.

Where you land depends on how clear your vision is and how much you’re willing to climb. Stay grounded in humility, and you’ll meet the right people, face the right tests, and unlock the right doors.

Good Gets You Good

We often wonder, “If I do good, will anyone notice?” The truth is, good work never goes unseen. It may not be appreciated immediately, but it always finds its reward. Whether it’s a patient waiting with folded hands outside the OT or a student relying on your guidance, the universe keeps score.

Success isn’t about how many followers or luxury meals you get. It’s about how many lives you’ve touched. When you serve selflessly, you plant seeds of prosperity that bloom in ways you can’t imagine.

Focus is Your Superpower

One line, one detail, one moment—that’s all it takes to change the outcome of your life or your exam. Just like a case of avascular necrosis might masquerade as TB unless you read the “limitation of internal rotation” line carefully, life too hides its tests in fine print. Focus is not multitasking. It’s doing what you’re doing—fully.

If you’re drinking water, just drink. If you’re studying, just study. This ability to stay present defines success more than any talent ever will.

Break the Door Open—Even If It Wasn’t Built for You

Sometimes, you’ll face closed doors—ones never meant for you. But that’s when effort becomes prayer. When talent isn’t enough, hard work becomes grace. If you want to open a door the world didn’t build for you, you’ll have to push harder, shout louder, and rise taller.

You may feel limited by your background, finances, or resources, but remember, limitations are often just a lack of belief. I didn’t come from luxury. My home didn’t even have a table once. But we worked hard to first earn a table, then food on that table, and eventually the ability to feed others.

Choose the Right Fight

When you become a doctor, temptations will come. Big pharma, flashy imaging centres, high-paying but hollow deals—they’ll all knock at your door. But healing someone, giving a patient mobility, standing next to a mother after her child walks again—that is the fight worth choosing.

Don’t forget why you started this journey. It wasn’t for suits and seminars. It was for saving lives.

Leave No Regret Behind

Thirty years from now, don’t look back and say, “I wish I had listened. I wish I had tried harder. I wish I had fought for my dream.” Give everything you have today, so you never have to say kash tomorrow.

When someone tells you “tumse nahi ho payega,” don’t argue. Just work. Let your actions roar louder than any insult ever could.

Conclusion: The Real Victory

Life isn’t just about breaking records. It’s about breaking the doors that society told you were never built for you. You’re not here by accident. You chose this path years ago when you decided to heal people. And the only way to do justice to that choice is by giving it your everything.

So stand up, raise your hands, push hard—and say it with me: Boom! The door will open.
